Whippersnappers

Whippersnappers: Recapturing, Reviewing, and Reimagining the Lives of Enslaved Children in the United States is on view until Jan. 25, 2025, at Historic Stagville, formerly one of North Carolina’s largest plantations. The installation features 20 new works by the artist and educator, utilizing her signature “bleeding” tissue paper technique, plus printed archival photographs, monoprints, painting, collage, and sculptures.
