During a two-hour write-a-thon, students composed on the writing wall, paper, or laptops. They could choose quiet space or a room of inspiration provided by a juggler, musicians, and performance artists, as well as the scenic view provided by the wall of windows in the Williams Visual Art Building.
The Statue of the Civil War Soldier keeps vigil over Third Street in Easton. Erected in 1872 by the Alumni Association to commemorate those who died for the Union, it sits at the top of the memorial steps leading down to the city.
