Laneta J. Dorflinger ’75 (center), distinguished scientist and vice president at FHI 360, Durham, N.C., received the Kidd Award for distinction in her career. She oversees programs that are focused in their purpose, empowering in their approach, and global in their impact. She is an emerita trustee.
The Bell Award was presented to Pamela Gaary Holran ’88 for distinguished service to the College. On July 1, she concluded her twoyear term as president of the Alumni Association, following a five-year term as an alumni trustee and member of the board’s Committee on External Affairs. She has held numerous other alumni leadership positions including president of the Washington, D.C., Alumni Chapter. She currently serves on the presidential search committee.
