McKelvy House is a residence for up to 21 students chosen from diverse majors and backgrounds who have demonstrated an interest in participating in a program that fosters intellectual discourse, personal growth, and community engagement. They may be sophomores, juniors, or seniors.
Students are nominated by professors and interviewed by a professor and a current resident who are members of the selection committee. Final decisions are made by the McKelvy faculty adviser, faculty advisory committee, and McKelvy Scholars who serve on the recruitment committee.
