Chris Nial ’10 and the a cappella group he’s been singing with in Vermont for the past 10 years, Root 7, recently released their first recorded album. Exit 1 features an eclectic mix of cover songs, including Carrie Underwood’s “Blown Away” and Phil Collins’
“In the Air Tonight.” “It wouldn’t have happened without the awesome folks I met and worked with at Lafayette,” writes Nial, who was a member of the a cappella group Soulfege at Lafayette and sang with Jennifer Kelly, associate professor of music and director of choral activities. The album is available for purchase and download on iTunes, Amazon, and Google Play.
