The College will mark the 30th anniversary of women’s and gender studies with special events during the upcoming academic year. Kimberlé Williams Crenshaw, professor of law at Columbia University and the University of California, Los Angeles, will deliver a keynote address at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, in Colton Chapel. Crenshaw is the founding director of the Center for Intersectionality and Social Policy Studies at Columbia Law School and co-founder of the African American Policy Forum, a think tank dedicated to transforming public discourse and policy.
