Harry Cherken Jr. ’71, Kevin R. Mandia ’92, Dr. Cynthia Y. Paige ’83, and Pamela S. Passman ’83 were elected to five-year terms on the Board of Trustees that began July 1.
Cherken is a partner in the real estate practice group of Drinker Biddle and Reath LLP. An economics and business graduate, he holds a J.D. from Villanova University School of Law. A member of the Board Committee on Educational Policy, he served on Lafayette Leadership Council in 2012-13.
Mandia is president of FireEye, which acquired Mandiant, the company he founded in 2004 to help organizations detect and respond to computer intrusions. He co-authored Incident Response: Performing Computer Forensics.
A computer science graduate, he holds a master’s in forensic science from George Washington University and received an honorary Doctor of Humanities degree from Lafayette.
Medical director of Cypress Health Institute of New Jersey, Paige is former assistant professor of family medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-New Jersey Medical School in Newark.
A biology graduate, she holds an M.D. from UMDNJ New Jersey Medical School at Newark. Her daughter is Ilani Paige-Waldon ’12.
A member of the Board Committee on Student Life and Lafayette Leadership Council, Paige previously served on the McDonogh Network steering committee and as an Alumni Admissions Representative and Career Services panelist.
Passman is president and CEO of Center for Responsible Enterprise and Trade, Washington, D.C., dedicated to helping companies prevent corruption and protect intellectual property. A government and law graduate, she holds a J.D. from University of Virginia School of Law.
Passman has served as an Alumni Admissions Representative and participated in a program to encourage women graduates to become more engaged with the College.
