Kim Spang became vice president for development and college relations Aug. 19. She had served as acting vice president since April of this year, following four years as associate vice president.
“I am delighted that I will have the opportunity to continue to work with Kim in her new role and am excited about the leadership she will bring to the capital campaign,” said President Alison Byerly. “She has served with dedication and established a record of success that prepared her well for the new duties she assumed last spring.”
“I know that she will do an excellent job of helping alumni and friends of the College understand why this campaign is critical to Lafayette’s future, and that she will be an effective advocate for the ambitious goals we have set for ourselves.”
Spang oversees the offices of development, alumni relations, and career services. She joined Lafayette in 2003 and held various fundraising positions before being appointed associate vice president for development in 2010.
