Presented March 3-5, Hear Me Roar is an updated version of We Were Pioneers, a multimedia staged reading written and produced in 2003 by Amanda Roth ’04 and Kamaka Martin ’04 based on interviews with alumni from the 1960s and ’70s. Adapted by Michael O’Neill, director of theater, and Kelcie Mohr ’11 and directed by Kelly Hess ’08, Hear Me Roar includes much of the original material plus new interviews with faculty and staff members who were on campus in 1970 and with current students.
