BEGINNING WITH the class entering in fall 2014, Lafayette will introduce the new Marquis Fellows program and will enhance the Marquis Scholars program.
The Marquis Fellowship, valued at $40,000 per year, will be offered to 20 admitted students each year. The Marquis Scholarship, currently valued at $20,000 per year, will increase to $24,000 per year. It will be offered to 15 percent of admitted students each year. Fellowship and scholarship recipients whose demonstrated need exceeds the amount of their fellowship or scholarship award will receive a financial aid award up to demonstrated need.

Marquis Fellows and Marquis Scholars are selected from among the College’s most promising applicants. In March, fi nalists for the Marquis Fellowship, approximately 100 applicants, will be invited to campus to participate in a selection process. Finalists who are not selected for the fellowship will receive primary consideration for the Marquis Scholarship.
