MINNEAPOLIS-BASED Target Corporation has debuted “Kate Young for Target,” an exclusive fashion collection designed by celebrity stylist Kate Young ’96, who works with Michelle Williams, Natalie Portman, and other superstars. The line includes women’s apparel, including an assortment of special occasion dresses and accessories, all priced under $90.

“I’ve been working with Target for a number of years as a stylist, so having the chance to design my own collection with a brand I already know and love is like a dream come true,” says Young, an Easton native who was ranked number one on The Hollywood Reporter’s list of 25 Most Powerful Stylists 2012.

“With this collection, I wanted to design standout pieces that allow women to experiment with fashion and create their own red-carpet moments.”

An English graduate, Young began her career at Vogue magazine. After assisting editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and styling the first cover of Teen Vogue, she transitioned into one of the most sought-after stylists in the fashion industry. In addition to celebrity styling, Young consults for various labels and often styles runway shows for designers such as Jason Wu, Derek Lam, and Nina Ricci.
