LACROSSE STANDOUT Stefan Bauer ’11 is one of 10 finalists for Lowe’s Senior CLASS (Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School) Award. Voting by media, coaches, and fans will determine the winner. Fans can vote through May 10 on the Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award web site or Facebook fan page.
The award recognizes senior student-athletes for their achievements in four areas — community, classroom, character, and competition — and encourages students to use their platform in athletics to make a positive impact as leaders in their communities. An economics major, Bauer was honored in November as the Maroon Club’s Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year (see “Game Plan for Excellence” in this issue).
